YouTube TV strikes 11th-hour deal with CBS after fans faced missing out on March Madness and the Masters


YouTube TV and Paramount - the parent company of CBS - finally reached a deal on Saturday night, after the streaming platform was in danger of losing two of the year's biggest sports events. Both the NCAA men's basketball tournament and the Masters air (in part) on CBS, with March Madness starting in about a month. The Masters begins on April 7 this year. But when YouTube TV announced earlier this week that all Paramount content would be unavailable after February 13 - with no new deal negotiated yet - fans bashed the streamer as they stared down the prospect of missing a pair of huge events.
