Stephen A. and Molly have appeared together on the favored ESPN program since 2015.
Smith started Tuesday's show by admitting he was the "strolling lifeless" during yesterday's episode.
The veteran sportscaster took a red-eye flight back from Los Angeles on Sunday night time and was called out by Shannon Sharpe on Monday for his "lack of enthusiasm."
Stephen A. appeared again to his ordinary self as he started Tuesday's show with a shot at Qerim for her doubtful music decisions.
He shouted throughout his cold open, "I obtained to provide my woman Molly some credit with that whack music she was enjoying.

Qerim claimed she was enjoying Mariah Carey, however her First Take companion was having none of it.
"Stop lying to the public!", came the fast response from Smith.

"You damn record, okay. Which isn't that spectacular Molly. Spare us!"
Smith's colleague Kendrick Perkins laughed, "I'm just glad we've obtained Stephen A. again."
It's already been a busy week on First Take, with Stephen A. "under the weather" on Monday's present.
He meekly informed the rest of the panel, "I had an extended weekend. Double additional time."
But Sharpe shouted back, "Don't do this! Actually? That's what you gonna do? Ohhh, 'double additional time'. You decide your voice up!"
Smith also took outing to lay into Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson for his "choke" in the AFC Championship recreation.
