Billionaires fighting to build new 'utopian city' with 'jobs for everyone' in California are forced to back down as they make embarrassing admission
A Silicon Valley-backed initiative to build a 'green city' for up to 400,000 people on farmland in the San Francisco Bay Area has been put on hold in an embarrassing reversal. The city would have been built from scratch on land 60 miles north of San Francisco which is currently rolling prairie, but the tech billionaires say the entire timeline, which would have seen the city up and running within ten years, was unrealistic.
